Unboxing a Robotic Ag Navigation Dataset

July arrived earlier than expected! We’ll be over at CohesionForce this week to cover a dataset that is a great resource for training a visual navigation system. We may also have some time to cover the associated paper, which has references to previous work that is also a good trail to follow.

The paper is:

This dataset includes a lot of measurements from a TerraSentia robot as it was being manually driven. It also uses a lot of formats and other 3rd party libraries that I am not familiar with, but might be for those involved in the Robotic Operating System (ROS) community.

So if you know anything about the ZED SDK or Rosbag files, stop by and help us out!
